2015-03-11: Pizza Party

Spring Has Sprung. Today is a delightful shiny day.
About 15 degrees. Felt much warmer though as there was no wind and it was sunny. Even the kiddies were playing in the garden.
Suitable rugged up of course
Spring Maintenance Season
This cat and I have an ongoing battle of wills. I think it understands English. Stupid cat.
I got a chance to show off my body to the old Ladies on the street with a daring shorts and t shirt ensemble as we did Ewa's rehabilitation walk. Ewa's Mum unzipped the front of her top coat.

Even the crows were excited. No Storks yet.
And we celebrated with pizza

Cultural Observation: Polish Pizza

Apparently Italian is an easy language for Poles to learn. This is good because an Italian receiving a Polish Pizza is likely to have a lot to say. Probably vehemently and quickly.
Tomato sauce is considered de rigeur. Corn is on almost all pizzas.
Australia has what we lovingly call garbage pizzas. Ones with a list of ingredients so long that you could accidentally eat the box without noticing. Poland likes this style of pizza.
They may even outdo us. Pepperoni was the only "classic" pizza on the menu, fortunately that is my favourite anyway. This was going to be from what tripadvisor claims is the best pizza place in Białystok but the locals claim tripadvisor is full of it.
Healthy Eating
We got it from Savona (http://savonapizza.pl/menu) who also happen to have a "salad". This a huge bowl of bacon and thin sliced pan fried potatoes with a token lettuce leaf hidden in the bottom.

Rating: 7.5/10 (despite my suave appearance I do love a good garbage pizza)
